[OAI-implementers] suggestions for Data Provider implementation

Coincidently, my quote of the day yesterday was Shakespeare: "How my
achievements mock me!"
Sadly, "it took some time to figure out" is too true. When Thom Hickey
wrote a compliant OAI-PMH implementation with 2 pages of Python my folly
was made clear. It takes just as much code to customize and configure
OAICat as it does to write an OAI repository from scratch.

I feel very bad about this, but I only have time these days to fix bugs
in OAICat. I hope the people I disappoint can forgive me.
