[OAI-implementers] New metadata format OAI-enable

Hi,

  I'm sutdying about Medical Images Digital Libraries
  and I'm thinking develope a new metadata format
  OAI-enabled to better describe this images, adding new elements that 
  describe medical images with more precision.
  Does somebody know if someone or some organization had already   
  created a XML scheme to this?
