If you don't hear from other UNIMARC users, you may want to contact the
UNIMARC maintenance agency (currently the Deutsche Bibliothek, but with
transfer to the National Library of Portugal planned) to see if they have
concrete plans. The UNIMARC strategic plan certainly indicates an
intention to develop tools for "interoperability of metadata."

The Library of Congress Network Development and MARC Standards Office has
recently mounted a mapping (as a document) from UNIMARC to MARC21.
