Kat,

The Digital Library for Earth System Education (DLESE) uses OAI to share a
specialized IMS-based metadata called DLESE-IMS. You can find specific
information about this framework at:  
http://www.dlese.org/Metadata/categories/framework.htm. As that page
mentions we are in the process of updating our systems to use a new
IMS-inspired learning object metadata framework called ADN.

You can get general information about DLESE and conduct a search over our 
collection at http://www.dlese.org/
